Wall Mural Materials and Surfaces
The wall decides the material. We specify after seeing the surface, not before.
- Smooth painted drywall: self-adhesive vinyl or paste-applied wallcovering, the cleanest finish and the widest choice of media.
- Brick, block and concrete: heavy-textured media that conforms to the surface, or a prepared and skimmed panel mounted proud of the wall where the texture cannot be beaten.
- Glass and partitions: printed and frosted film where the mural has to let light through or provide privacy at the same time.
- Removable and temporary: low-tack media for campaign murals, leased space and anything that has to come off cleanly at the end of a term.
- Laminates and finishes: matte, satin, anti-scuff and anti-graffiti laminates matched to how much the wall gets touched.
- Panel-mounted murals: printed and mounted rigid panels where the wall itself cannot be worked on or has to stay untouched.
From Wall Survey to Finished Mural
- Site visit and survey. We measure the wall, photograph it, and record the surface condition and every obstruction on it.
- Artwork and visuals. Artwork prepared at full scale and shown back to you as a render on your own wall for approval.
- Material and sample approval. Media and finish chosen for that surface, with a printed sample where the finish matters.
- Production. Printed in our own facility, panelled deliberately, with color checked through the run.
- Surface preparation. The wall cleaned, filled or primed as needed. Most mural failures are surface failures, not print failures.
- Installation. Fitted by our own teams, out of hours where the space is occupied, with the room left clean and usable.

How much does a wall mural cost in New York?
It is priced by square footage, media, finish and install conditions, so a smooth drywall reception wall and a textured brick wall four floors up are very different jobs. Send us the wall dimensions and a photograph and we will give you a real number rather than a range.
Can you print a mural from our own artwork?
Yes. Send what you have and we will tell you whether it holds up at full wall size before we print it. If the resolution will not carry, we will say so and suggest options rather than print it soft.
Do you provide the mural art, or do we?
Either. We work from client-supplied artwork, brand assets and photography, and we can develop the artwork with you where you have a wall and an idea but no file.
Will a wall mural damage our walls?
Not when the right media is specified. For leased space and temporary campaigns we use removable, low-tack media designed to come off cleanly. Tell us at survey stage if the wall has to be returned to its original condition.
Can murals go on brick, block or textured walls?
Yes. Textured surfaces need conforming media, or a mounted panel where the texture is too deep to work with. This is exactly the kind of thing the site survey settles.
How long does a wall mural take?
It depends on size, media, artwork readiness and install access. Tell us the deadline when you enquire and we will confirm whether it is achievable before you commit.

Yes, with our own teams. Surface preparation, building access and out-of-hours scheduling are agreed before delivery rather than discovered on the day.
